I have to feature Mazisi Kunene's [1930-2006] poem "The Third Eye" here at PoetryInternational, translated by Vusi Mchunu. He was from South Africa; here's more information on him and more poems.
He has a great, really interesting style that is a combination of imagery and great conceptual ideas. Few people can pull off a special concept within a poem, it's often too hokey for people after about 1920, but he has some great lines--here's an excerpt:
You will know it is the age of the third eye Kuzobe kuyilihlo elifunayo

Cascading ribbons of thundering waterfalls Bona bungezimpophoma ezidilika zilandelana
That splash alluring forests with leaves in ochre red Bona bungamahlathi ahlobise ngamahlamvu
