Zahra el Hasnaui

I have to mention the great poem "Saguia" by Zahra el Hasnaui here at PoetryTranslation. She's from the Western Sahara and writes in Spanish. She has a great sense of language. It's translated by Sarah Maguire. It's a really beautiful, with great phrases and interesting imagery I haven't seen by others--very unique and also classic at the same time.

They say
the night takes possession
of your indigo,
violet and cobalt hues.
That, in your lap,
all the kisses of salt
dry up.
