Coral Bracho

One poet I love is Coral Bracho from Mexico. Her work is incredible, especially the short poem "The Rivers Churn Up a Tranquil Foliage" ["Los ríos encrespan un follaje de calma"] here at A United Nations of Poetry. She has an excellent mix of place, imagination and wonder in her work.

of dense, pale jade (deep water, cleaved;                              de jade pálido y denso (agua profunda, hendida;
