Douglas Korb

There's quite the terrifying, lurking eyes-feeling in the great piece "Triptych with Gun & Oboe" by Douglas Korb in Dialogist, vol. 2, issue 1. It has a great sense of the reality of worry, the physicality of being afraid, of being weightless and weighed down by fear. It's moving, interesting and reveals perspectives on how the mental and physical segue together.

There's a really exceptional part about anthems as well, something I think many gothic-leaning artists and writers are trying for, like Lana del Rey, etc.
