Claire Cronin has a great poem in vol. 2, issue 1 of Dialogist, called "Blessing". It has quite the ancient ring to it, complete with appropriate pagan, Renaissance tarot and nature-based Symbolist touches. It's a great read for autumn especially, but regardless is an engaging moment in another world that overlays our own.
Here's an excerpt:
[...]
The maples were the ones
we liked to wound—
[...]
This was when a blessing meant
a sacrifice.
We said a hanged man blessed
the hilltop with his feet.
